As of today, Pizza Hut is now calling me a liar over the pizza incident. It seems that the manager lied and said that the pizza would have been free, instead of what I was told, that they couldn't do that.
This was passed on to the BBB.
If this is how far Pizza Hut has sank, they should close the doors and stop insulting their customers. They didn't get to be as big as they WERE by doing this.
What happened to the customer came first and that the customer was always right? Now they want to save $20 on a pizza order they ADMIT was late?

At 6:49 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2015, I placed an order with the Wytheville Pizza Hut for a large, thin and crispy, supreme pizza, without mushrooms, by the Internet. According to their website, my order would be delivered in 30 minutes and 55 seconds.
At 7:35 PM, same date, I called the Wytheville Pizza Hut to find out where my order was. I was shuffled between three different people, presumably one was a manager, who informed me that they did not receive my order. Then, they said that they had just received it. The impression that I got was that they do not bother to watch the Internet orders placed and could have cared less if the order was delivered.
They stated that they would deliver it immediately, but that it would be full price, not free, in spite of the fact that it was their fault it was not delivered promptly. The new manager apparently does not know how to deal with customers to keep them after a major mistake.
