We always buy from Pizza Hut because we really enjoy the food and have never had any problems other than small mix ups it accidents. Nothing I didn’t understand as I work in retail and deal with a lot of angry customers.
We were charged for two orders, one being ours and another of which we don’t know anything about from the same day and almost the same price. I took screenshots of the card statement and checked my account on there and only one order came up and it says we paid in cash for some reason but we paid by card which it shows. We emailed and weren’t contacted until a week later, not 3 business days as they claim. I didn’t pick up the first call because I was at work and just listened to the voicemail that stated they had been trying to reach us multiple times which they did not.
That was the first call, voicemail from them. Then the next day I checked my email and they said they could do nothing about it thru their end because nothing shows up but our actual order we made, so they said to contact our bank. Big company like that you’d think they’d be trusted with card info or at least a refund.
Not sure what happened but with all the card scammer scares going around it’s best to pay in cash. We just won’t be going back to this store.
