Pizza Hut complaint by Jessicamjames18
I ordered online for my Fiance and I one afternoon last week, so that when he got home that night he would have his FAVORITE pizza waiting! I thought it was brilliant I wouldn't have to wait an hour and a half for pizza to arrive instead I would order it early in the day and not have to deal with it.

It was supposed to arrive at 9:15 PM. I called at 9:45 and asked where my pizza was. The guy on the phone was asking around and finally came back to tell me that they had "canceled" my order because they tried to call and I didn't pick up. Well, I received no phone calls from pizza hut that whole day. So I have talked to several people by this point to which they just kept saying we'll send you the pizza in 35 mins! Well that's great at 1030 I will get my pizza and I haven't received an apology or even an offer to FIX the problem they had just created! No offer of a discount, NOTHING!

I called corporate and got their store in trouble as well as made their district manager aware of their behavior. I am disgusted! Pizza Hut corporate is sending me a coupon for 2 free pizzas! I am still watching my bank account to make sure I don't get charged because those guys are idiots! I am a big fan of customer service because I work at the container store and we are taught that customers come before anything! SO ya, I know its just pizza but customer service is a big deal to me

I had yet another bad experience there, the MANAGER sat and aggressively argued with me for 20 minutes about why it was not their fault but it was mine. I will never go to this pizza again. I will be speaking with the district manager within the next 3 days. I have posted on the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, here, google and will be making sure that everyone knows what horrible service I have received.

All new orders for delivery are to be called back regardless of where it comes from.. Why you ask? Well this is for the safety of the driver.. If they don't call back and the driver gets hurt or worse killed then they get fired and pizzahut gets sued.. Next time read what the website and/or e-mail tells you.. They explain it on there site and on there e-mail sent to you, confirming the order was sent or not.. I know because I seen it..

Pizzaguyhero, what is your problem??? Every time someone complains about the terrible service they got at Pizza Butt, you've gotta point the finger in their face and say that it's THEIR fault that they got bad service. How ridiculous is that?? You are clearly one of those shi**y slacker employees who doesn't give a sh*t what kind of service you give your customers. And if something is wrong, you say it's their fault - just like I've seen you do with every person who complains here. Like the rest of the modern world, I've received great service and I've received poor service in the restaurant world... but never was the poor service MY fault. I also worked at a pizza joint years ago, and I've seen firsthand the careless mistakes that employees can make. I made a few of my own mistakes... such as forgetting the bottle of soda they ordered with their pizza... but you know what, I owned up that it was my fault and I hauled my *** back to the store to get their soda and back to their house to give it to them for free. Like I said, you sound exactly like the type of employee that all these people are complaining about - an employee who just doesn't give a sh*t and blames everything on the customer. Here's a tip... don't EVER own/run your own business, because it won't last very long with your attitude towards customers.

This happens alot, people use a number all the time and then order pizza under it when they cannot be contacted by that number. It always seems to be our fault, we ask you for a number we can contact you and and you give the wrong number, so its our fault when we cancel your order cause we cant reach you. No its your fault you committed fraud and we have every right to cancel your order, the only other option sometimes is just to send you a substitute but you would be happy with that, would you?

I have a feeling that this person did not answer the phone in the first place so that the pizza could arrive late hoping to get it free. The tone of the letter explains it all. If it is the case it is her and not them that is an idiot. It is probably her fault. I feel sorry for the fiance.
